Frolf!

That is correct ladies and gentlemen, this weekend I participated in the challenging and age old tradition of Frolf! Or as the unwashed masses refer to it: Frisbee Golf. Saturday me and a couple of the students went up to Los Estados Unidos (The States) to meet up with Rory's (one of the students) mom and cousin who were visiting from Colorado. We went to this restaurant for breakfast called Hash House A Go Go. Weird Name, I know. Anyway, this place is known for their gigantic proportions of food. So after we finished eating, we made our way to the Frolf course near Balboa park. It took a good 3ish hours to finish the 19 hole course. Let me just say, my Frolf skillz require some fine tuning. It was a good time nonetheless. I'm amazed at the weather down here. Last year at this time we were having some pretty rough wind storms and rain. It kinda feels like waiting around for the Tsunami to hit. I think all of the sudden it's going to just storm like crazy.

Anyway, this week is Thanksgiving. We've got a big meal planned, my second here in Mexico. It's interesting, growing up you don't really think about how a lot of the world doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving. Aren't they thankful too? But I digress.
